The Lower Price Hill Community Council is the city-recognized representative body of the neighborhood. It is open to all residents and businesses present in the area. Residents become voting members by attending three meetings in each calendar year. There is no membership fee. Votes on NSP issues are open to all attendees. The Council meets on the first Monday of the month. The council meets on the 3rd floor of the Community Matters building.

The Community Council publishes a monthly newsletter, which is printed with the generous support of RPI and NSP. It is not the official statement of the Council, but its 400 copies, which are hand delivered, are much appreciated by all of the residents.
